This Barnsby sidesaddle is a park saddle - designed for showing off the horse but not designed for jumping.

Champion and Wilton Sidesaddle. These saddles were made in the early 1900s and were imported into the US for use in hunt fields. Today this "Old Name English Sidesaddle" is in high demand. The Champion and Whitman offers the leaping pommel, safety stirrup release, heavy materials, and good general comfort. However it is heavily padded and places the rider high off the back of the horse, and it is long which makes it a bad choice for shorter-backed horses. The tree is also narrow and doesn't fit many modern horses.
Elan sidesaddle. The Elan sidesaddle is a nice choice if you are looking for an economical saddle to start riding sidesaddle in.
Ascot International Sidesaddle. This particular Ascott is huge - with points that are so long that they extend beyond the barrels of a normal sized horse. It fits draft horses well.
Beck Morrow sidesaddle. This saddle's safe does not extend up over the cutback (seen when looking fromt he front).
